The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Cancels 2020 Induction Ceremony

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced that it is canceling the induction ceremony that was scheduled for November 7th in Cleveland.

This year’s event will be replaced by an HBO special that will air November 7th and feature the inductees. The Class of 2020 includes Depeche Mode, The Doobie Brothers, Whitney Houston, Nine Inch Nails, Notorious B.I.G., T-Rex, and Ahmet Ertegun Award honorees Jon Landau and Irving Azoff.

Due to the cancellation because of COVID-19 concerns, the Rock Hall also announced that the 2021 ceremony will take place in Cleveland at a TBD date that fall.
