Eric Church To Sing National Anthem At Super Bowl LV With Jazmine Sullivan

Eric Church has been announced as one of the performers for Super Bowl LV. The country star will team up for the first time with Jazmine Sullivan to perform the National Anthem before the big game at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on February 7.

The pregame show, which airs on CBS along with Super Bowl LV, will also feature H.E.R. singing a rendition of "America The Beautiful."

According to the NFL, deaf rapper Warren "WAWA" Snipe will accompany both H.E.R. and Church and Sullivan to perform "America the Beautiful" and "The Star-Spangled Banner" in American Sign Language. Emmy-nominated musical director Adam Blackstone will arrange and produce Church and Sullivan's performance.

Church is the first country artist to perform at the Super Bowl since Luke Bryan, who sang the National Anthem in 2017. Other artists who've previously had the opportunity include Demi Lovato, Gladys Knight, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, Jennifer Hudson, Billy Joel, P!NK, Jordin Sparks, Idina Menzel, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, and Neil Diamond.

The NFL previously announced that The Weekend will headline the 2021 Pepsi Super Bowl LV Halftime Show.

"We all grow up watching the world's biggest acts playing the Super Bowl and one can only dream of being in that position,” The Weeknd shared in a statement. “I’m humbled, honored and ecstatic to be the center of that infamous stage this year."

This year marks the second collaboration between Pepsi, the NFL, and Roc Nation following last year's Super Bowl LIV halftime show featuring Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.

"The Weeknd has ushered in a sound all his own. His soulful uniqueness has defined a new generation of greatness in music and artistry," Shawn "JAY-Z" Carter added. "This is an extraordinary moment in time and the Pepsi Super Bowl LV Halftime Show is going to be an extraordinary experience with an extraordinary performer."

Tune into CBS on February 7 to catch all the Super Bowl LV performances.
